Villa Lystikämä is a modern and ecological holiday home built of logs, on the shore of a lake, in its own peninsula. From the patio you can watch the more active vacationers swim in the water or play in the snow. You'll find plenty of fun things to do in the Lomatilan area, and the relaxing influence of Lapland's nature is present all the time.
Villa Lystikämä is a cosy villa, situated in its own peace and quiet, on its own peninsula in a secure private area, in a beautiful lake landscape. The cottage has its own yard and road access. The log cottage was completed in 2021.

About this space
58 km south-east of Rovaniemi city centre, Lake Siika-Kämä 25 m (lake length 2 km, width 800 m), gently shelving shore, sandy bottom, pier, own rowing boat.
Kitchenette, bedroom with 2 beds, one bedroom with convertible sofa, loft with double bed and 3 single beds, sauna, washroom/WC, utility room, two separate toilets, one in loft, large patio (70 m²).
Outdoor jacuzzi available (electrically heated, ready to use).
Forest hut with fireplace
Good fishing waters right from the beach. Lake with pike perches, pikes and perches.
Known to have good berry forests nearby. Visitors can share a 1 km nature trail with another cottage, with a shelter and outdoor fireplace.
Sheep and chickens on the farm in the yard in summer from 25 June to 30 September. Animals can also be visited and fed.
There is a sledging hill and sledges available for children. The owner makes a cross-country ski trail from the cottage yard, approx. 5 km long. Possibility to rent snowshoes.
Snowmobile rides and guiding services available at different prices from the owner. Possibility to rent an Irbis snowmobile from the owner. It's small and slower than normal snowmobile, ideal for example, ice fishing trips.
Pick-up service by arrangement at a different price, e.g. from the airport.
Ranua Zoo 50 km, Ounasvaara Ski Resort 60 km, Arctic Circle 70 km.

Reviews
We spent a great holiday with our family at Villa Lystikämä. The hot tub was a favourite with the grandchildren and was enjoyed by the parents too. The sheep grazed and the grandchildren picked up eggs from the chicken coop. We also had the use of a sauna cottage in the same yard and could take the dog with us. This sauna hut can be arranged separately with the host couple for a fee. One of my children's families stayed there and there was also a small kitchenette, toilet and sauna. I can warmly recommend this place.

We stayed at Miika’s place with a group of friends during the weekend. This place is just beautiful, sparkling clean, spacious, modern and yet it conserves the touch of a traditional Lapland house. It is located right next to a lake and it has all you want during your stay in Lapland: sauna, jacuzzi, outdoor fireplace, indoor fireplace, a walking trail.
Miika was very quick with his responses and very hospitable! He gave us the best tips to get around and he is very friendly and kind too!
My friends and I really recommend this place for your next stay in Lapland!

The beautifully decorated and fully equipped house by the lake provided a great setting for our group of friends' winter holiday. Miikka gave us good tips for activities and we were able to do a lot of them directly on the ice of the adjacent lake (e.g. ice fishing and snowmobiling). The barbecue hut in the yard and the Whirlpool were a great addition to the house.
