Imagine yourself in a warm glass igloo in your comfortable bed watching the Northern Lights from the igloo window wall. The igloo offers a panoramic view of beautiful Finnish nature and brings you closer to a magical experience than ever before.
The Aurora Igloo is designed to provide a comfortable and memorable vacation experience for two people. The main feature is the unobstructed floor-to-ceiling view of the outdoors and the sky. Amenities include a double bed, a kitchen for cooking, a fold-down dining table, a pantry, and a toilet. There is storage space for travel gear under the bed. Heating and lighting are easy to adjust to your liking, and curtains provide privacy.
In addition to the bedroom, the cottage has a fold-out sofa bed in the living room.
Aurora Igloo, the cottage, and the sauna are located on private property. The owners live nearby in the main building. Parking is free. The property is located in Lystikämä, a 45-minute drive from downtown Rovaniemi.
This package can even be booked for four adults (extra bed possibility also for children). You can enjoy all this by changing activities to suit your taste. Of course, you can also combine all this with a Villa Lystikämä rental if you wish.

A great place to recommend to everyone. It was a place that had everything you need to enjoy Finland’s peaceful and beautiful nature. Mikka was a wonderful host who welcomed us warmly and guided us with courtesy. We were treated to amazing activities that we couldn’t have experienced anywhere else—especially the snowmobiles and the sauna were fantastic! I am writing this review just as I land in Paris.
I want to thank Miika for being such an amazing person.
We loved our stay here; he was always available and organized everything for us: excursions and unforgettable experiences. The snowmobile safari with him was in a class of its own – we were completely alone in the world, in a magical place. We also tried the sauna and jacuzzi in the middle of the forest for the first time, and we loved it too.
Finally, the location is amazing for viewing the Northern Lights: in three nights we saw them three times from our glass igloo, and we were so excited! He promised me that it wouldn't be a bad idea to book a Northern Lights tour, and he was absolutely right.
I definitely recommend it.

I really loved this Airbnb! It’s in such a beautiful and peaceful location. Both the igloo and the cabin were clean and spacious. The host, Miika, is incredibly friendly. He helped us arrange a private visit to his friend’s reindeer farm. He also offers many activities on his own property. I would love to stay here again!

58 km south-east of Rovaniemi city centre, Lake Siika-Kämä 25 m (lake length 2 km, width 800 m), gently shelving shore, sandy bottom, pier, own rowing boat.
Forest hut with fireplace
Good fishing waters right from the beach. Lake with pike perches, pikes and perches.
Known to have good berry forests nearby. Visitors can share a 1 km nature trail with another cottage, with a shelter and outdoor fireplace.
Sheep and chickens on the farm in the yard in summer from 25 June to 30 September. Animals can also be visited and fed.
There is a sledging hill and sledges available for children. The owner makes a cross-country ski trail from the cottage yard, approx. 5 km long. Possibility to rent snowshoes.
Snowmobile safaris and guided tours are available from the owner for an additional fee. You can rent snowmobiles for your own use and go on guided safaris directly from your accommodation.
Pick-up service by arrangement at a different price, e.g. from the airport.
Ranua Zoo 48 km, Ounasvaara Ski Resort 60 km, Arctic Circle 66 km.
